Site Water Supply Network

Water supply network of a site or district, point by point to every building: daily and peak demand from the norms, required pressure per building, mains / tank + booster / zoned supply, residual pressure, static pressure check, combined domestic + fire scenario and take-off with tees, valves and water meters.

2 · Buildings

# Building Type Persons / units Norm (L/unit/day) Floors Floor height (m) Supply Floors from mains (zoned) Connected at point Service L (m) Service Ø Elbows Valves Meter Inlet level (m) Peak flow (L/s, optional)
Norm: residential from ShNQ 2.04.02-19 Table 1 (230 / 200 / 120 L/person/day); other types from ShNQ 2.04.01-22 Annex 3 (average day); mosque and other: typical values. Supply: Automatic = the mains fill the building tank and the report shows how many floors the mains can feed directly; Mains pressure = every floor directly; Tank + booster = only the tank inlet; Zoned = the given number of lower floors from the mains. Inlet level empty = ground level of the connection point. Peak flow: from the building's own plumbing calculation (otherwise the maximum hour is used).

Distance = pipe length from the previous point (the first point: from the supply tee). Buildings are connected to these points (a tee on the main and the service line). Mark a point as a hydrant for the combined domestic + fire scenario.

Numbers follow the point rows. Blue squares = buildings, red = hydrants.

Demand
• Buildings: type, persons / units × daily norm. Residential norms from ShNQ 2.04.02-19 Table 1; other building types from ShNQ 2.04.01-22 Annex 3 (average day); mosque and other: typical values.
• Maximum day = average × Kday (1.1 - 1.3); maximum hour = Khour × maximum day / 24, Khour = αmax (1.2 - 1.4) × βmax (Table 3, total persons).

Pressure at the building
• ShNQ / SP: 10 m + 4 m per floor above the first (2.32), at most 60 m static (2.34).
• Supply: automatic, mains pressure, tank + booster or zoned. Automatic: the mains fill the tank, and the report shows how many floors the mains pressure can serve.

Network
• Points from the supply tee (loop or single line); every building is connected to a point by its service line with tee, elbows, valves and water meter.
• Combined domestic + fire network: maximum hour + fire flow at N adjacent hydrants (2.22).
• Required supply pressure, or check of an available pressure; take-off.

Key Points:
  • ShNQ 2.04.02-19 demand and pressure rules (also SP, EN, TR, IPC)
  • Building by building: daily, maximum day, maximum hour
  • Mains / tank + booster / zoned supply, floors served by the mains
  • Static pressure check - pressure reducing valve
  • Combined domestic + fire scenario
  • Loop or single line, point by point - shared network engine
  • Take-off: pipes, tees, valves, water meters, elbows
  • PDF and CSV report
